Abhay currently leads the digital efforts at UAE's leading luxury brand DAMAC. Over the years, his focus has been to help organizations create compelling consumer propositions by building differentiated brands, compelling digital vision, coordinated digital investments and driving appropriate synergies by bridging the on/offline capabilities. With more than 20 years of experience, Abhay has had the opportunity to deliver business growth and build commerce platforms in India and the Middle-east. He brings a mix of highly successful international experiences as CMO/CDO in FMCG, Financial Services, Consulting and Luxury Real Estate. While the early part of his career was in sales and distribution functions, he made a mid-career move into marketing, product development and digital platforms; having spent the past decade in ultra-high growth businesses in mobile phones, OTT, FinTech and online commerce. Abhay's strength is to innovate and industrialize delivery. As marketing and digital head across consumer products and services categories, he has built large teams focused on delivering market-leading solutions. As a culturally aware business leader, he is a firm believer in the evolution of businesses through technological advancements and innovations that matter. He works with c-suite stakeholders to outline digital roadmaps and direct diverse teams to smooth execution. In addition to traditional brand building and marketing, he brings high levels of execution experience in: Agile, Cloud, e-commerce, PLM/PIM, CMS, CRM, Clienteling, Digital Marketing (SEM, SEO, DMP), data systems (MDM, CDP) and Analytics. Over the years, Abhay has led digital and technology business transformation programs and is a regular guest speaker to the leading B-schools and to international conferences on digital, consumer, luxury, retail and technology-in-marketing.
